1. My favorite toy is this scratching post. I use it as a tackling dummy and attack the spring thing on top of it. I nap on it too! Foto 2 is of clouds on a partly cloudy day that is windy and cold.

It isn't the subject for the month that has kept me tardy..I actually have 2 submissions that fit. Mom did something awful to her left shoulder way back in February when we had 2 ice storms in a row. She just had to shovel it all away for those dumb ferals out back and has been in pain ever since. Of course it is the left shoulder and she is left pawed, so now typing is done one finger at a time with the right paw only, and right paw mouse surfing and no writing or sweeping or much of anything or she pays dearly. She went to the doc, had x-rays, etc, and begins p.t. Tuesday so purr she gets back to health soon! I haven't even begun my Zine article yet..sigh. So, taking pictures was a tough thing to do. I managed but I don't like them much. Thank goodness for ibuprofin. One is leftovers and one is a puddle.

(Nice reflections in a puddle! Since we had very little rain here in Connecticut, I, Henri of Twin Brook was unable to get a good picture of a puddle. That's life......)

#1. I don't know what kind of flowers these are but I thought they were pretty. #2. Meet Mamma Kitty. Mamma is the reason there are Bobb cats. She showed up in our back yard over 10 years ago, already an adult, so her true age is a mystery. She started having kittens, and they had kittens, and so on and so on.. resulting in my housemates, the feral colony out back and myself. She was finally trapped and spayed, along with 4 other ferals about 5 years ago and still rules the backyard, although she is a tiny little thing. She reminds me of Grizabella from Cats. I caught her regally perched on a pole and had to snap her picture.
