Spice looks on in encouragement.
Faith Marie's March Submissions!
It finally thawed enough in my corner of the world to find a few photos of the promise of Spring. Well, there is still a tiny bit of snow in one piece of the yard, but not bad considering it was covered with a foot of the stuff only a week ago. Word of advice, tell your humans to avoid metal roofs if possible. This is my human's first winter with the new roof made of metal and she has discovered that anything piled up on it will come sliding down like an avalanche. Much to the dismay of the ferals below who had a tent there which had to be scrapped after being crushed in snow and ice. Luckily, they chose to spend the storm and aftermath on the back porch and are fine. Well, here are my submissions for March. The promise of things to come. Photo #1. In April, these will be beautiful flowers. Photo#2. My neighbor's hedge has started to bloom! Fuji Finepix, normal settings.
Faith Marie's April 2007 Submissions!
I thought I'd snap these while I can before another Nor'Easter strikes! Both are of the budding bush in my March photo, but now it is in full bloom. Photo one includes me enjoying being out after housebound for a week. It's still soggy out but I'm tough. Photo two is a close-up of the flowers on the bush.
