These are really impressive photographs of how beautiful cloud formations can be! Leave it to Clarence! Here is my March entry for Fabulous Feline Foto. These are my favorite toys. The Lion is a Valentine from a secret admirer. The HP calculator is my present from Henri to calculate the fluctuating prices of Kitty Treats. The Pounce I indulge on twice daily are rising in price! The April 2008 Submissions for Clarence of Belden!

The assignment for April includes, "if a cat looks outside the window." I spotted Helen looking out the windows wondering why Spring has not yet arrived in Connecticut. Most nights are below freezing.


(If Helen sees this picture, she will never let Clarence set paw in this house again!)

In Connecticut during the first weeks of Spring the forest trees are still bare. One species stands out in the dark woods with bright beige leaves. Leftovers from Winter the leaves have lost their summer and autumn pigment. I don't know the name of the tree, it is only noticed a few weeks per year.

I carefully stepped over the puddle so I wouldn't disturb the picture! Also, I didn't want to get my feet wet!

The May 2008 Submissions for Clarence of Belden!

My first April foto is a Weeping Cherry Tree. It is shaped like a weeping willow but the color of cherry blossoms. They are spectacular for less than a week. My second foto is Magnolia Blossoms. This variety of magnolia has lots of small flowers. My third foto is cascading water in Kent Falls State Park after a Spring rain.
