I used a Pentax K100D to take a foto of kitten Stella (well, to us older Toms any female under 4 looks like a kitten). She was attacking a Catnip present with a vigor only the young can muster . I was overwhelmed at the number for choices to modify a foto with Paint Shop Pro! The ones I chose are (clockwise from upper left) Original, Warp, Neon, and Solarize.

Meow Henri! I was passing through your yard Christmas Morning and spotted a new kitty eating breakfast! I was able to take some fotos with my Fuji S5200 but the cat was nervous in front of a camera and would not pose for a closeup. I hope she returns and lets me get closer next time.

The January 2008 Submissions for Clarence of Belden!

I arranged my presents for the January assignment and was busy setting up my camera. Sidney plops himself down in my field of view and insists that the presents were all addressed to him. Obviously he is mistaken since they were delivered to my home on Beldon Road. I only brought them over to Henri's house so he could see what I got. Taken using room light with Pentax K100D, Macro Lens, 1/4 second exposure.

When out for my daily neighborhood walk, I stopped to meow a bit with B.J. who was sitting in a driveway on Belden Road, the street where I live. B.J is Sidney's queen.


This is a bluejpay, a quarrelsome bird which loves to pick fights! I took this photo with my new lens.
