Clarence of Belden and his Page of Photographs!

May 2007 Submissions by Clarence!

Clarence brought over these photos for his page of photographs. He told me to choose the pictures that I like. He is so busy with his astronomical pictures that he doesn't have time to make his own selecton! I decided that I like these two.

This is a girl swan. Her name is Hilda. Personally I don't know her but Clarence got pretty friendly with the bird! I think she is a prima donna!

She loved having her picture taken, again and again and again!

This doesn't take much imagination to understand why Ashley, our mutt, was under arrest at the dog park!

Clarence took a tour of a cemetery here in Hamden. Since this area of New England was settled early in the history of our country, many of the headstones are quite old.

Clarence of Belden's June 2007 Submissions!

Clock #1 is on Harkness Tower in nearby New Haven. The tower houses a carillon of 54 bells, the largest weighs 13,400 US pounds. Clock #2 is on the New Haven Town Hall. The old town hall was torn down except for the facade in the foto. The new Town Hall is behind the structure. Clock #3 is on the Hamden High School. All photos were taken with a Fuji S5200 on full automatic.

Clarence of Belden's July 2007 Submissions!

Here are my July entrees for Fabulous Feline Fotos. I discovered the wet lily in Henri's garden after watering the lawn during a dry spell. Pentax K100D full auto. The thistle and cone flower were in a garden in the corner of a parking lot on a busy street corner. Henri and I asked to have the car stopped so we could jump out with our cameras. Fuji S5200 full auto. The bee is named Stuart and he told me there is a dire shortage of bees this year. He does not know what is wrong with his brethren, he is too busy working to investigate.
