Binka's February 2007 Submissions!

I had a go at the challenge, this month, but I don't seem to have got a cloudy day and a sunny day. Both my photos are of cloudy days, but the clouds seem to have moved from the valley up into the sky. Personally, I think that I prefer the foto with the clouds in the valley. The photos are of Winter Hill, which is where our local TV signal is transmitted from. I think the top of the big mast is up in the clouds in one of the photos, which is why it seems shorter in one photo than in the other. The viewpoint must not be quite the same, as I got different little trees in the foreground.

Binka's March 2007 Submissions!

Something that I like about this time of year, around here, are the daffodils along the roadsides. I do not remember them years ago, and I think that the local council gardeners must plant them, but I never see them doing it. Here are 2 photos of the daffodils that I like.

Binka's April 2007 Submissions!

Here is the image that I am sending for April. It is a nearby war memorial and the gardens are in a shape of a broken heart. A local shop was selling some very small tripods for £1 each, so I bought one and used it for this, it saved me from lying on the floor.
